Not long after Quentin started walking he developed a passion for running up and down the hall in our apartment. It became something he called "Schnell!" because he would say (or I would say) "Schnell!" to encourage him. I usually did it with him (he didn't like Birgit to do it). He would say "Papa! Do schnell!"
In the new apartment we don't have a proper hall. I'm not sure if we'll be doing Schnell again soon (maybe in the basement).

I am sorry but I have to say that Master Schnell Man (Poppa)is unaware that Granmaw was entertaining Q man one day while Momma and Poppa were out, Granpaw was in charge of Elliot and Q decided there was enough room to schnell from the front door to the window ledge. And it went well, of course Granmaw had to pretend to play the drums while Q counted 1 2 tree go. God I love these kids. granmaw
