Ihr habt bestimmt Eure offiziellen Einladungen erhalten. Hier einige Hinweise: Wir - das zukünftige Brautpaar- werden in der Zeit vor und nach der Hochzeit (4. - 10. Juli) in einem Ferienhaus im Bibertal sein und Euch dort empfangen können.

Das Hotel/Restaurant Ratschänke haben wir bereits für Gäste aus Amerika reserviert. Ansonsten habt Ihr verschiedene Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten in Rüthen, Belecke, Warstein, Kallenhardt. Klick: Rüthen. Gehe auf Tourismus und dann auf Gastgeberverzeichnis. Ihr werdet Adressen von Hotels, Ferienwohnungen und Pensionen rund um Rüthen finden. Ihr könnt auch weitere Adressen in Belecke/Warstein auf der Warsteiner Website finden.

Das Haus Welschenbeck liegt zwischen Belecke und Mühlheim. Leider gibt es dort in den Haus keine Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten, aber auch im Sauerland gibt es Taxis, die auch uns zur Verfügung stehen werden.

Das Rüthener Stadtsymbol ist der Esel - der über Jahrhunderte das wichtigste Lasttier in der Stadt war. Auch für wenig reiterfahrene Gäste können wir dieses ungewöhnliche Transportmittel sicherlich organisieren.

Greetings! You've probably (hopefully) gotten your official invitation by now. Have a look around this website if you haven't already (sorry, no games for the kids).

Here are some important bits of new information as well: We (Birgit and Greg) will be in a vacation house in the Rüthen neighborhood Bibertal. The Best Man and Maid of Honor (and their escorts) will join us there. I have told some of the other guests (they know who they are, I hope) that they already have a reservation. This is why the Ratschänke is booked. If you are not one of the people I have spoken to about where you are staying, have a look at the very next post (right below) and let me know what you find interesting by entering a "comment". If you don't see anything that strikes your fancy, tell me that, too. You can see pictures of all the places on the website for the city of Rüthen (click Tourismus and then Gastgeberverzeichnis). The city next door, Warstein, also has lots of places for guests. Of course, these websites are written in German, but I can help you out if you like.
